Press Release: Bob Pike to Speak in Lansing on September 23

(Lansing, MI) Mid Michigan American Society for Training and Development has announced that renowned speaker Bob Pike from the Bob Pike Group will be coming to Lansing on September 23, 2008.

Bob has developed and implemented training programs for business, industry, government, and the professions since 1969. As founder and Chairman of The Bob Pike Group and Creative Training Techniques Press, Bob leads sessions over 150 days per year covering topics of leadership, attitudes, motivation, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, personal and organizational effectiveness, conflict management, team building and managerial productivity. More than 75,000 trainers have attended the Creative Training Techniques™ workshop.

Press Release: Announcing the Addition of the Breakfast Club Meetings

The local chapter held their first “Breakfast Club” meeting on Thursday, January 10 at the Flap Jack Restaurant near the Frandor Shopping Center in East Lansing… and was a great success!!!

This informal session brought together good food, friendship, shared discussion on needs, community activities, programs, and more. Several existing members and board representatives attended, and we even met one of our newest members that joined the chapter, Ann Andrews.

Please mark your calendars for this every other month event. No registration is required! It’s easy! Come as you are and bring your appetite for discussion and breakfast.
